Honore poses for a picture with Troy Fire Chief, Mark Watson.   General Honore was the keynote speaker at the   AT&T Networking Leaders' Forum in Memphis, TN.  The topic of the forum was Network Disaster Recovery.

General Honore stepped into the national spot light and became a national hero after President George W. Bush deployed him to New Orleans as Commander of the Joint Task Force Katrina.

Chief Watson said, "It was a great honor to meet General Honore.  I became a huge fan of his after watching his extraordinary leadership style during the Katrina disaster.  I never dreamed I would actually be given the opportunity to meet him and have my picture made with him.  I thank him for taking the time to pose for this picture and I thank him for his service to our county."
